The Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) in Kuwait has announced a new digital service to enhance user convenience and streamline procedures.

Through the “Sahel” application, users can now electronically merge civil ID numbers in cases where a resident under sponsorship has more than one civil ID number.

This service is part of Kuwait’s ongoing digital transformation efforts to improve efficiency and reduce in-person visits. Users will receive a notification from the authority to complete the remaining procedures with the Ministry of Interior before issuing the final civil ID card.
