The Ministry of Education announced that, for the safety and well-being of all students, Minister of Education Engineer Sayed Jalal Al-Tabtabai has directed the suspension of classes on Thursday across all government schools at every level (general education, religious education, and special education). This decision also applies to private schools operating under both Arabic and foreign curricula, following reports from the Meteorological Department about expected rainfall.
The Ministry confirmed that all practical exams scheduled for Thursday will be postponed. School administrations will set new dates that support students’ interests and maintain the smooth continuity of the educational process.
The Ministry emphasized that student safety, along with the safety of all educational staff, remains a top priority, and urged everyone to follow its official accounts for any further updates.
