The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, carried out a field security tour in Al-Abdali yesterday, underscoring the Ministry’s commitment to monitoring security conditions and supporting key sectors related to food security and public services.
During the visit, the Minister inspected several farms in the area, where he reviewed operational procedures, listened to farmers’ concerns, and discussed the challenges facing the agricultural sector. He reaffirmed the Ministry of Interior’s full support for initiatives that enhance security, stability, and the public interest.
Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef also toured the Al-Abdali Farmers’ Market, assessing its organization and workflow. He praised the market’s role in promoting local produce and strengthening Kuwait’s food security, while emphasizing strict adherence to regulations to ensure safety for all.
The tour concluded at the Farmers’ Union Diwaniya, where the Minister met with farmers and heard their suggestions. He highlighted the importance of direct engagement with all segments of society to reinforce partnership and cooperation in serving the nation.
