History and Leadership :Chalhoub Group was founded in Damascus by Michel Chalhoub and Widad Chalhoub, initially focusing on retailing luxury silverware products from Christofle.To expand business opportunities, the company relocated to Beirut in 1965, extending its presence across the Near East and Gulf region.Following the outbreak of the Lebanese Civil War, the company moved its headquarters to Kuwait City, and later relocated permanently to Dubai in 1990 during the Gulf War.
