Kuwait weather forecast update:Meteorologist Issa Ramadan stated that parts of the Arabian Peninsula and Iraq are expected to see cloud cover and light rain starting Today. He noted that Kuwait will also witness scattered rain until Tuesday.

Ramadan added that rain chances in Kuwait will rise on Wednesday and Thursday, with expected rainfall ranging from light to moderate.

He explained that the “forty-day winter period” (Al-Murabba’aniyah) is delayed this year, unlike usual patterns where cold conditions begin appearing at the start of December due to the influence of the Siberian polar high and cold northwesterly winds.

This year, the characteristics of this period are expected to appear only by mid-December, after which the weather will gradually turn noticeably colder.

Ramadan pointed out that Al-Murabba’aniyah begins every year on December 6 and continues for 39 days until around January 15. It marks the true onset of winter in Kuwait, with temperatures dropping progressively.

The forty-day period is divided into two phases:

• The first phase – cold and mostly stable weather.
• The second phase, starting on December 28 – colder, with temperatures that may approach 0°C.
