Vehicles impounded Kuwait:The Ministry of Interior has impounded the vehicles involved in a hit-and-run incident that injured a traffic officer while he was performing his duty in the Al-Wafra Farms area of Al-Ahmadi Governorate.

According to the ministry, the incident occurred on the evening of Thursday, December 18, 2025, when security patrols responded to a report involving a reckless driver operating a Nissan Z without license plates in the Al-Wafra area. While a traffic officer was attempting to arrest the driver, the suspect fled on foot and attempted to escape using another vehicle, a Land Cruiser also without license plates.
During the escape attempt, the driver of the Land Cruiser ran over a member of the security forces, causing injuries and lacerations to his hands and left leg. The injured officer was immediately transported by ambulance to Sabah Al-Ahmad Hospital, where he received medical treatment and underwent examinations. He was later discharged, and the Ministry of Interior confirmed that his condition is stable.
The ministry stated that two individuals involved in the incident have been arrested and referred to the competent authorities for legal action.
The Ministry of Interior stressed that reckless driving, fleeing from law enforcement, and assaulting security personnel are serious violations that will not be tolerated under any circumstances. It emphasized that the strictest legal measures will be taken against those involved, including vehicle confiscation and impoundment, in accordance with the law and to safeguard public safety and security.
