Security Campaign Leads to Multiple Arrests in Kuwait

Three people were arrested in two separate cases involving the theft of electrical cables and iron materials, as part of ongoing security efforts by the Ministry of Interior through the Security Directorates Affairs Sector.

According to a statement issued by the Security Media Department, security patrols successfully apprehended the suspects and took the necessary legal measures against them.

In the first case, a security patrol became suspicious of two individuals inside an electrical transformer during a field inspection in one of the areas. The suspects were arrested while leaving the site and were found carrying several electrical cables along with cutting tools believed to have been used in the theft operations.

In the second case, the operations room received a report about a person stealing iron materials from an asphalt plant site. A support patrol was immediately dispatched, and the suspect’s vehicle was identified and stopped. During verification, authorities discovered that the driver had three outstanding arrest warrants issued by the General Directorate for Drug Control, in addition to being wanted to serve a one-month prison sentence. The stolen iron materials were also recovered from inside the vehicle.

The suspects, along with the seized materials and vehicle used in the theft, were referred to the competent authorities for further legal action.

The Ministry of Interior reaffirmed its commitment to continuing security campaigns aimed at arresting violators and protecting public and private property while maintaining public safety and order.
