The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition has confirmed that it will continue its intensive field inspection campaigns to ensure food safety across the country.
Represented by the Deputy Director General for Inspection and Control Affairs, the Authority stated that monitoring efforts are ongoing to strengthen the national food safety system and ensure that all food establishments comply with approved health regulations, with the aim of protecting consumer health.
Inspection teams have carried out field visits to several factories, production facilities, and food warehouses. During these visits, they verified the safety of operational procedures, ensured that manufacturing processes meet approved health standards, and confirmed the safety of food products being distributed in local markets.
The Authority also emphasized that emergency response teams remain fully prepared and operational around the clock. Continuous monitoring and inspections are being conducted to reinforce food safety measures and ensure the uninterrupted flow of food supplies in the markets.
