Ministry of Public Works Advances Road Network Projects to Improve Traffic Safety

The Ministry of Public Works has completed a series of road network development projects under its new contracts, aimed at enhancing traffic safety and improving infrastructure quality across the country. The works include sidewalk painting, road markings, speed bump highlighting, and the installation of traffic signs.

According to informed sources quoted by Al-Anbaa, the ministry has finished painting sidewalks and road markings on major streets in the Abu Futaira area. Marking of speed bumps is currently underway to ensure smoother traffic flow and to enhance the safety of both vehicles and pedestrians. Similar street markings and traffic signage have also been implemented in other areas as part of the ministry’s ongoing nationwide infrastructure development efforts.

Regarding major maintenance works, the sources confirmed that extensive rehabilitation on Arabian Gulf Street has been completed under the new contracts, contributing to an improved daily commuting experience for citizens and residents.
