The campaigns also resulted in the arrest of 45 reckless drivers, the impounding of 333 vehicles and 25 motorcycles, and the referral of 25 juveniles to the Juvenile Prosecution after they were caught driving without licenses.

Director of the Traffic Awareness Department, Colonel Fahd Al-Essa, stated in a press release that traffic patrols across the six governorates—along with patrols from the Traffic Operations and Traffic Investigation Departments—carried out multiple field campaigns. These efforts led to the issuance of thousands of violations, the arrest of minors driving illegally, and the seizure of vehicles and motorcycles in violation of traffic laws.

Al-Essa added that traffic patrols handled 2,455 traffic-related reports during the week, including 1,200 accidents and 178 injury-related collisions. Patrol officers also referred 53 individuals wanted on security charges, including absconders and those with arrest warrants. In addition, 58 expatriates were arrested for residency violations, along with four individuals found without official identification.

During the same period, patrols seized 32 vehicles wanted by security and judicial authorities and arrested one individual in an abnormal condition, who was referred to the General Directorate for Drug Control.

Meanwhile, patrols from the General Directorate of Emergency Police conducted several security deployments across different governorates, resulting in the arrest of 32 wanted individuals on charges ranging from criminal cases to absconding and expired residency permits. Emergency police patrols also issued 2,316 traffic violations, seized nine vehicles wanted by the judiciary, and responded to 141 traffic accidents and one pedestrian accident.

Colonel Al-Essa noted that emergency police patrols provided assistance in 410 cases, handled 11 reports of fights—all of which were contained and resolved legally—and carried out 1,154 security operations during the week. These operations included arresting wanted persons, providing humanitarian assistance, responding to traffic accidents, and apprehending seven individuals in cases of drug use or drunkenness, all of whom were referred to the General Directorate for Drug Control.

He reaffirmed that the General Directorate of Emergency Police will continue its efforts to maintain public safety and security, stressing that strict legal action will be taken against anyone who disrupts public order.
