Kuwait City: Jazeera Airways has announced the resumption and expansion of its direct flight operations from Terminal 5 (T5) at Kuwait International Airport, effective Sunday, April 26. The move includes the launch of new direct services to Riyadh and Jeddah, enhancing connectivity between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
With this development, the airline will operate direct flights to a total of 10 destinations from Kuwait, including Amman, Beirut, Mumbai, Cairo, Kochi, Delhi, Istanbul, and Damascus.
According to the airline, some flights will continue to operate via Dammam, including services to Dubai. Passengers on these routes will check in and arrive at Terminal 8 located at the Kuwait International Fairgrounds in Mishref.
As part of updated operational procedures, passengers departing from Terminal 5 will first report to the Park & Fly building, from where they will be transported by bus to the terminal for check-in and boarding. The airline stated that this measure is aimed at ensuring smooth passenger flow and maintaining operational efficiency.
Commenting on the development, CEO Parathan Basubathy said the airline is pleased to resume flights from its home base and gradually reconnect key destinations. He emphasized that the company’s current priority is to serve the community while ensuring safety, reliability, and comfort for passengers.
Jazeera Airways has advised travelers to check their flight details in advance and arrive early at the airport to complete all procedures on time.
Flights can be booked through the airline’s official website, mobile application, or customer service center.
