Kuwait Airways explained that the move reflects its ongoing commitment to meeting passenger expectations by expanding its flight network to include diverse international destinations. The airline noted that this expansion is part of its operational strategy for the peak summer travel period, aimed at enhancing connectivity and offering more options to leisure and cultural travelers.

The statement quoted Acting Chief Executive Officer Abdulwahab Al-Shatti, who said that the new routes align with Kuwait Airways’ broader strategy to strengthen its network and improve the overall travel experience for customers. He added that the updated summer schedule is designed to respond to growing market demand during the holiday season.

According to Al-Shatti, flights to Sharm El Sheikh and Salalah will commence on June 10, followed by Zurich on June 12, Mykonos on June 14, Antalya on June 15, and Trabzon, Sarajevo, and Vienna on June 16. Services to Bodrum are scheduled to begin on June 17.

He emphasized that the carefully planned schedule aims to accommodate increased passenger demand while reinforcing Kuwait Airways’ presence in key tourism markets during the summer season.
