The Director General of the General Administration of Customs, Yousef Al-Nuwaif, carried out an inspection visit to the Al-Nuwaiseeb border crossing to assess operations and monitor the flow of travelers and vehicles during the national holidays.
In a press statement issued Wednesday, Customs said Al-Nuwaif was accompanied by Deputy Director General for Ports, Research, and Customs Investigation, Saleh Al-Omar. Al-Nuwaif emphasized that the institution follows a comprehensive operational strategy during peak travel seasons. He stressed the importance of maintaining a careful balance between facilitating customs procedures and strengthening oversight to safeguard national security and protect the country’s achievements.
Officials also received a briefing from field leaders on workflow distribution, vehicle route organization, and measures taken to speed up clearance procedures, ensuring smooth traffic movement while upholding regulatory and security standards.
