Cold weather Kuwait:Temperatures in Kuwait dropped sharply, with the minimum temperature falling below zero in two areas. The Al-Salmi region and the islands of Warbah and Bubiyan recorded –1°C, according to the Meteorology Department.
Failaka Island recorded a minimum temperature of 3°C, while Al-Abdali saw temperatures drop to 2°C. In Kuwait City, the lowest temperature recorded was 6°C.
The Meteorology Department said that nighttime weather will be cold to very cold, with northwesterly to variable winds blowing at light to moderate speeds ranging from 8 to 32 km/h. During the daytime, the weather is expected to be cool to cold, with northwesterly to variable winds at speeds of 8 to 30 km/h, and partly cloudy conditions continuing across the country.
Residents, particularly farmers and drivers in open areas, are advised to take precautions due to the possibility of frost and low visibility in some locations.
