The Ministry of Interior announced that security authorities took action after a video circulated online in which the individual claimed that more than 1,000 people had been arrested. The Ministry confirmed that this claim was completely baseless and intended to mislead the public and create confusion.
The individual also called for amnesty for those sympathizing with the Islamic Republic of Iran. Authorities have taken legal action against him, and he has been referred to the Public Prosecution.
The Ministry emphasized the importance of verifying information from official sources and warned against spreading rumors or false news, stressing that it will take strict action against anyone who attempts to harm public security and stability.
