The hospital is a 254-bed acute care medical and surgical facility, offering comprehensive services across more than 40 medical and surgical specialties. All physicians are American Board Certified or equivalent, guaranteeing globally recognized standards of treatment in the UAE.

American Hospital Dubai has achieved several regional and international milestones. It was the first hospital in the Middle East to receive Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation, while its laboratory became the first private-sector lab in the region accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP). The hospital is also the first Middle East member of the prestigious Mayo Clinic Care Network, reflecting its commitment to international collaboration and clinical excellence.

The hospital’s Comprehensive Cancer Center was the first in Dubai to provide integrated, one-stop oncology care. Additionally, the Life Support Training Centre at American Hospital Dubai is the first private hospital in the UAE recognized as an American Heart Association (AHA) International Training Center.

American Hospital is internationally recognized as the only medical facility outside the United States to receive Ultrasound Practice Accreditation from the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) across Abdomen/General, Breast Diagnostic, and Breast Interventional services.
