The routes will connect Kuwait to four major Indian cities: Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Kochi. According to Acting CEO Abdulwahab Al-Shatti, flights to Ahmedabad will operate once a week on Sundays beginning April 5. Kochi services will run twice weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays starting April 6, while Delhi flights will operate once a week on Tuesdays from April 7. Flights to Mumbai will begin on April 10 and operate weekly on Fridays.
The airline noted that this move is part of a broader expansion plan, with additional destinations via Dammam including London, Cairo, Istanbul, Lahore, and Amman. In total, Kuwait Airways is currently operating nine destinations through this route.
Al-Shatti explained that the expansion aims to meet growing travel demand and ensure smooth passenger movement during the current period. The airline is also continuing to enhance its operations to maintain efficiency and provide reliable services.
Kuwait Airways has introduced a visa assistance service for Saudi Arabia for passengers who have confirmed bookings with the airline. The company emphasized that it is working closely with authorities both within Kuwait and internationally to ensure safe and seamless travel, with passenger and crew safety remaining a top priority.
In addition, the airline will offer exclusive shopping deals in collaboration with Al Khairan Mall, allowing travelers to enjoy special prices before departure.
