Kuwait Airways and Jazeera Airways have announced the resumption of a total of 73 commercial flights from Kuwait International Airport this week, marking a significant step in restoring air travel operations.
Kuwait Airways confirmed the restart of 35 flights operating from Terminal 4 (T4). Acting CEO Abdulwahab Al-Shatti stated that the initial phase will cover 13 destinations, including Beirut, Riyadh, London, Istanbul, Dhaka, Mumbai, Kochi, Colombo, Delhi, Manila, Cairo, Jeddah, and Trivandrum.
Al-Shatti noted that additional destinations will be scheduled and opened for booking once approvals are obtained from the relevant authorities. He emphasized that the airline is fully prepared to handle operations efficiently under various conditions, maintaining high standards of safety, flexibility, and service quality. The move aligns with Kuwait Airways’ strategy to enhance operational efficiency and improve passenger experience.
Meanwhile, Jazeera Airways announced the resumption of 38 flights from Terminal 5 (T5). CEO Parathan Basubathy said the airline will initially operate flights to 10 destinations: Jeddah, Riyadh, Amman, Beirut, Damascus, Mumbai, Cairo, Kochi, Delhi, and Istanbul.
He detailed the flight schedule, noting that Cairo and Mumbai will operate daily. Jeddah flights will run twice weekly (Monday and Thursday), while Riyadh flights are scheduled for Wednesday and Friday. Amman will have three weekly flights (Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday), and Damascus will be served four times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday). Beirut flights are set for Friday and Sunday, Delhi flights on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, Kochi on Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, and Istanbul on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday.
Both airlines highlighted that the resumption of flights reflects their ongoing commitment to restoring services, strengthening connectivity, and meeting passenger demand while maintaining high operational standards.
