Kuwait Activates Early Warning System via Smart Devices

The Kuwait Ministry of Interior announced on Thursday the activation of an early warning system that sends emergency alerts directly to smart devices.

In a statement, the Ministry confirmed that these alerts are issued based on real-time field assessments and accurate security indicators continuously monitored by relevant authorities. Citizens and residents are urged to take these warnings seriously and strictly follow the instructions provided to ensure public safety.

The Ministry explained that the system aims to enable authorities to take rapid preventive measures during emergencies. Upon receiving an alert, individuals are advised to immediately move to a safe location and avoid staying near windows or open areas.

Additionally, the public has been strongly warned against going out of curiosity to observe or record incident sites, as this may expose them to danger and potential legal consequences.

The Ministry emphasized that community awareness and strict adherence to official instructions are essential for maintaining public safety.
