The Indian Ambassador to India, Tripathi, reaffirmed her country’s full solidarity with the State of Kuwait in light of ongoing regional developments. She emphasized India’s commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation and achieving shared goals.

In a press statement following the presentation of her credentials to His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad, Ambassador Tripathi highlighted the strong and longstanding ties between the two nations. She praised Kuwait’s continued support for the Indian community, describing it as a vital link that reinforces the deep relationship between both countries.

She noted that India and Kuwait are focused on enhancing their strategic partnership by expanding collaboration in key sectors such as trade, investment, security, defense, and energy. Additional areas of cooperation include healthcare, science, technology, and innovation.

The Ambassador also stressed the importance of joint coordination on regional and global issues, underlining the shared commitment to upholding international law and the principles of the United Nations Charter. She reiterated India’s support for initiatives that promote regional stability and peace.

Highlighting the historical relationship between the two countries, she pointed out that India and Kuwait share over 65 years of diplomatic ties, built on strong economic, cultural, and humanitarian foundations.
