PMC Senior Project Engineer

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Senior Project Engineer with a proven track record in leading and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams to successfully plan, execute, and deliver complex technical projects for a high-profile client.

Job Objective

Lead the engineering team to ensure successful project delivery by:

• Managing technical scope, quality, cost, and schedule
• Mitigating risks and resolving issues
• Coordinating stakeholders (client, contractors, disciplines)
• Acting as the main technical liaison with the client

The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Coordination

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering inputs across multiple execution centers (including workshare/high-value engineering centers)
• Communicate key execution principles and contractual requirements to the project team
• Develop and manage manpower plans and resource allocation
• Interface with discipline managers for resource planning
• Prepare multidisciplinary contract requisition scopes
• Develop and implement work plans, identifying key milestones and deliverables
• Manage forecasts and recovery plans for delays or changes
• Develop and manage workshare plans

HSE, Quality & Assurance

• Ensure compliance with Project Quality Systems
• Conduct audits and drive quality improvements
• Ensure HSES reviews are planned and implemented
• Develop project-specific procedures
• Assure quality of engineering deliverables prior to client submission

Schedule & Change Management

• Develop and manage project schedules
• Drive completion of discipline and inter-discipline deliverables
• Use contractual knowledge to support schedule and milestone decisions
• Quantify impacts of change and implement mitigation strategies
• Lead and participate in Design Verification processes
• Manage technical interfaces with third parties

Qualifications & Experience

Expected:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 15 years of experience in project delivery environments
• Proven experience in mega EPC/EPCm projects
• ADNOC Projects/PMC experience preferred (not mandatory)
• Strong understanding of technical scopes and commercial project aspects
• Strong knowledge of industry specifications and standards
• Extensive experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Expertise in engineering management procedures and project execution flows
• Strong change management capability
• Ability to manage technical interfaces and third-party stakeholders
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills
