Job Opportunity: Accountant – Bullion

Experience Required: 2–3+ Years

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with expertise in bullion operations to manage financial transactions related to gold, silver, and other precious metals.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate records of bullion purchases, sales, and inventory
Reconcile daily bullion transactions with physical stock
Monitor market rates and support pricing strategies
Prepare and review bullion-related financial reports and ledgers
Ensure VAT and tax compliance
Coordinate with sales, procurement, and warehouse teams
Liaise with banks for bullion financing and transactions
Support audits and maintain documentation
Implement internal controls for bullion handling
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (CA Inter or CMA preferred)
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, including bullion operations
Strong knowledge of bullion trading and inventory systems
Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
High integrity and attention to detail

Preferred Experience

Experience in gold, diamond, or jewellery companies
Familiarity with bullion vault operations and logistics
Understanding of international bullion markets and hedging practices
