Reporting directly to the Chief Accountant, the successful candidate will perform daily financial operations, transactional record-keeping, and month-end closing support.

Target Experience: 2 years of accounting experience (manufacturing or project-based industry preferred)

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Transaction Processing: Record daily financial entries across Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and the General Ledger (GL).
Billing & Collections: Assist with customer invoice generation, sales ledger posting, and systematic follow-ups on outstanding receivable balances.
Account Reconciliations: Perform basic monthly reconciliations, including bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer ledgers.
Financial Reporting & Closing: Prepare routine journal entries, organize supporting schedules, and assist senior team members with monthly and year-end financial closings.
VAT & Compliance Support: Maintain organized documentation for UAE Value Added Tax (VAT) filings, supporting statutory audits, and internal controls.
Expense Management: Track and record petty cash transactions, verify employee expense claims, and archive vouchers, contracts, and financial documents.

Candidate Qualifications & Technical Requirements

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a closely related discipline.
Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred) and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Accounting Expertise: Strong foundational knowledge of standard accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping, and UAE VAT rules.
Core Competencies: Accurate numerical entry, analytical problem-solving, structured record-keeping, and effective English communication skills.
