Kuwait Municipality has officially begun demolishing 67 dilapidated and non-compliant properties in the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area, following the end of the two-week deadline issued in an administrative decision that obligated property owners to evacuate and remove the unsafe structures. The decision was published earlier in the official gazette Kuwait Today.
The demolition work was launched in the presence of the Director General of Kuwait Municipality, Eng. Manal Al-Asfour, who oversaw the start of the operations.
The Municipality confirmed that the removal process will follow a planned timetable to ensure completion as quickly as possible. The targeted buildings were classified as unsafe, structurally unstable, and posing risks to residents and the public. Authorities emphasized that the move aims to safeguard lives and maintain public safety.
The Municipality added that demolition is carried out at the property owner’s expense, and only after confirming that all buildings are fully vacated.market news, and investment tips, follow our WhatsApp channel:
