Kuwait City: The General Authority of Civil Aviation has denied reports circulating on social media regarding the resumption of flights from Kuwait International Airport, confirming that no official approvals have been issued.
The authority stated that the airport has remained closed since February 28 due to the ongoing political and security situation in the region.
Official spokesperson Abdullah Al-Rajhi told Kuwait News Agency that a misleading announcement from an airline claiming the restart of operations was detected and is completely inaccurate.
He urged the public to verify information through official and trusted sources and avoid spreading rumors or unconfirmed reports.
The authority reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and stated that any updates will be announced through its official channels.
