Kuwait Civil ID Update:Kuwait Introduces New Rules Allowing 120 Days to Register Newborns

The decision, published in Sunday’s edition of the Official Gazette Kuwait Alyoum, amends Decision No. (2/89), which previously modified Decision No. (5/88). Under the revised Article (2), Paragraph (b), the registration period for children born inside Kuwait has been extended.

According to the amendment, parents now have 120 days from the date of birth to register a child born in Kuwait.
