The Role The Account Executive – Public Sector (Abu Dhabi) will drive strategic growth across enterprise and government accounts within Abu Dhabi. This role requires a consultative, results-oriented sales professional capable of managing complex sales cycles, building executive-level relationships, and closing high-value agreements.
You will serve as a trusted advisor, aligning Snowflake’s solutions with customers’ digital transformation strategies and long-term IT roadmaps. This is a high-visibility, high-impact opportunity during an exciting phase of Snowflake’s growth in the region.
Key Responsibilities
As an Account Executive, you will:
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas within assigned public sector accounts
- Develop and execute a territory sales strategy, including target prospect lists and regional sales plans
- Collaborate with marketing to drive revenue-generating campaigns
- Prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities and recurring revenue streams
- Conduct executive-level and CxO meetings to position Snowflake solutions strategically
- Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity creation through negotiation and closure
- Support new customers through onboarding and ensure long-term account satisfaction
- Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer IT environments and future business objectives
- Maintain ongoing account management to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
Ideal Candidate Profile We are looking for a high-performing, self-driven sales professional with strong public sector expertise.
Required Experience & Skills
- 7+ years of field sales experience, preferably in data, cloud, or enterprise technology
- 4+ years of focused experience expanding Abu Dhabi government/public sector accounts
- Fluency in Arabic (written and spoken)
- Proven ability to independently develop, manage, and close complex client relationships
- Demonstrated success achieving $1M+ ARR annual quota
- Strong pipeline development and consistent quota achievement record
- Experience managing complex, solution-based sales cycles
- Executive-level relationship management experience
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong understanding of IT business drivers and digital transformation strategies
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry-specific public sector expertise
- Experience implementing MEDDPICC methodology
- Background in selling enterprise software or cloud-based applications
