Line Operator – UAE

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Line Operator to join our production team in the United Arab Emirates. The role is responsible for operating and monitoring production and packing lines in accordance with approved SOPs, quality standards, and food safety regulations.

This position is ideal for candidates with FMCG or food manufacturing experience who are committed to maintaining high operational efficiency, product quality, and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

Operate production and packing machines as per SOPs and work instructions
Ensure correct packing materials, accurate batch coding, and labeling as per standards
Perform start-up, changeovers, cleaning, and basic machine adjustments
Monitor weighing accuracy, sealing quality, and visual defects during packing
Record production data, downtime, wastage, and quality checks in line log sheets
Identify abnormalities (noise, leakage, product rejection, weight variation) and immediately inform supervisors
Support SMED activities during changeovers to minimize downtime
Ensure proper line clearance before and after production runs
Coordinate with maintenance teams to support preventive maintenance activities
Uphold GMP, HACCP, ISO/FSSC 22000 standards, and internal hygiene SOPs
Follow FIFO/FEFO principles during material usage

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

ITI / Diploma / 10+2 (preferred)

Experience:

Minimum 2+ years of experience in FMCG or Food/Confectionery/Packing lines

Language:

Good English communication skills (written and verbal)

Technical Skills:

Production line handling
Packing machine operations (VFFS / HFFS / Flow Wrap)
Basic troubleshooting and machine adjustment
Strong attention to quality and safety standards
