Our History

1989 : Formed as a subsidiary of Hong Leong, CDL Hotels International acquires its first six Asian hotels.

1993 :Acquisition of the 548-room Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington and control of a 13-hotel chain in New Zealand.

1995 : CDL acquires Copthorne Hotels for £219 million and launches Millennium Hotels and Resorts as a global brand, becoming New Zealand’s largest hotel owner with 21 hotels.

1996 : Millennium & Copthorne Hotels begins expansion into the Middle East through management contracts in the UAE.

2001 : M&C is listed on the London Stock Exchange and expands further into Europe with acquisitions in the UK, France, and Germany.

2022 : Over 150 hotels and resorts globally, including 50+ properties in operation across the Middle East and Africa, with 32 additional hotels in development in the region.

Housekeeping Attendant : We usually respond within a week

As a Housekeeping Attendant, your primary responsibility is to ensure the cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas, following the guidance of Supervisors and adhering to hotel policies and procedures.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Collect keys and daily assignments, preparing the trolley and necessary equipment for efficient task performance and to prevent delays.
Maintain and clean guest rooms, replenishing room supplies according to the hotel’s Standards of Performance.
Clean and replenish bathrooms, ensuring adherence to Standards of Performance and safety standards.
Arrange and tidy guest belongings while cleaning rooms and bathrooms.
Inform Valet Service to collect guest clothes for laundry, dry cleaning, or pressing to ensure guest satisfaction.
Clean guest corridors, service pantries, and service areas, maintaining a professional and organized appearance.
Report maintenance-related issues to the Engineering Department for general upkeep and facility maintenance.
Consider guest needs and requirements when working in public areas and guest rooms, ensuring courtesy and guest satisfaction.
Uphold environmental, health, and safety standards in alignment with organizational policies.
Adhere to the company’s environmental, health, and safety procedures and policies.
