Core Responsibilities

The role blends welfare-support duties with cleaning and general school-environment tasks:

  • Bus Monitor Duties:
    • Supervise students during morning and afternoon bus rides.
    • Manage student behaviour calmly and supportively, being a role-model according to “The Aquila Way”.
    • Recognise and reward positive behaviour.
  • Cleaning Duties:
    • Maintain cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene across school areas.
    • Manage cleaning supplies and stock; ensure all procedures are followed.
  • General Support:
    • Provide additional support to the facilities manager and welfare supervisor.
    • Maintain confidentiality and contribute to smooth school operations.

Work Schedule & Benefits

  • Working hours: 9 hours per day from Monday to Friday; plus 4 hours on Sunday.
  • Annual leave: 30 working days of paid leave (pro-rata for partial years), with leave allowed during school breaks after probation.
