Etihad Airways is currently recruiting a qualified and licensed Registered Nurse to join the multidisciplinary team at the Etihad Airways Medical Centre in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities & Clinical Accountabilities
- Clinical & Screening Procedures: Assist physicians during general, aviation, and occupational health assessments. Record vital signs, calculate BMI, and perform clinical diagnostics including vision checks, ECGs, audiograms, tympanometry, spirometry, and vaccinations.
- Regulatory Compliance & Medical Records: Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DOH), General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), and Occupational Safety and Health Abu Dhabi (OSHAD). Manage crew documentation including drug/alcohol screening and immunizations.
- Equipment & Inventory Oversight: Inspect daily/weekly crash carts and emergency medicines. Ensure clinical equipment is functional, calibrated, and report defects immediately to the Nurse Manager for biomedical repair.
- Infection Control & Quality: Enforce aseptic practices, maintain high hygiene standards, and report operational variances or infection control breaches promptly. Participate in health education campaigns and nursing policy reviews.
Candidate Qualifications & Requirements
Mandatory Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Diploma in Nursing.
- Licensing: Valid active UAE Department of Health (DOH) or Dubai Health Authority (DHA) nursing license.
- Certifications: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Emergency First Responder registration preferred).
- Core Experience: Minimum 3 years of registered nursing experience in a large hospital or medical center, with at least 2 years focused on chronic disease management services.
- Languages & IT: Full professional fluency in English and strong computer literacy.
Preferred Competencies
- Prior nursing experience in Occupational Health or Aeromedical/Aviation Nursing.
- Familiarity with GCAA aeromedical standards, OSHAD guidelines, and regional public health mandates.
