Cargo Sales Executive – Join dnata in Dubai

Job Purpose

As a Cargo Sales Executive, you will promote and sell dnata Cargo products and services to medium and small freight forwarders and cargo agents. Your primary objective will be to maximise freight revenues for contracted airlines, increase sales commissions for Cargo Partners (CP), and strengthen dnata’s market position as a leading GSSA (General Sales & Service Agent) in the region.

Key Responsibilities

Plan

Develop and recommend annual sales targets and promotional action plans.
Analyse market demand, competitor activities, and customer feedback to drive sales strategy.

Lead

Conduct regular safety briefings and promote safe working behaviours.
Supervise and organise a small team to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
Follow up on corrective actions and maintain high safety standards.

Execute

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental policies.
Implement daily operational tasks in line with established standards.
Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Conduct joint sales calls with airline representatives to expand customer engagement.
Apply the “basket airlines approach” to promote diverse transport solutions, including freighter services for large ad hoc export volumes.
Maintain close coordination with internal sales support and operational teams regarding rates, commissions, AWB instructions, schedules, tariffs, and load availability.
Monitor cargo volumes, revenue, yields, and seasonal trends within your customer portfolio.
Review lost sales and business performance, recommending corrective measures and credit limit adjustments where necessary.
Build and maintain strong relationships with principal airlines, ensuring timely communication of schedule or policy updates.

Qualifications & Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

High School Certificate (12 years of schooling).
4–6 years of experience in Logistics or Air Cargo Operations.
UAE Driving License.
Strong knowledge of general airfreight, cargo handling, and load processing.
Experience working with international airline ground handling agents.
Proficient IT and computer literacy skills.
Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
Proven negotiation and professional writing abilities.
Strong safety awareness and compliance mindset.
