Careers at Arbor School : The Arbor School, Dubai, is a growing school situated near Jebel Ali, Jumeirah Park and Discovery Gardens.The school opened in September 2018 and currently has over 1500 children on the register. We teach the National Curriculum for England with a focus on Ecoliteracy, Sustainability and Environmental Justice, which are incorporated into the curriculum across all year groups. The Arbor School seeks an exceptional and passionate Teacher of Physics to join our Secondary Science Department. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking, values-driven school community committed to ecological literacy, sustainability, and academic excellence.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality Physics education across Key Stage 3, GCSE/IGCSE, and A Level, inspiring students of all abilities to achieve outstanding academic outcomes while nurturing curiosity, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning. You will join a well-established Science department comprising four dedicated teachers, a full-time laboratory technician, and four modern, fully equipped laboratories designed to support innovative and experiential learning.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking an experienced and accomplished educator who demonstrates:

Native-level English proficiency
A Bachelor’s degree in Physics (or related discipline)
PGCE with QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
Minimum three years’ experience teaching Science within the UK or a reputable British international school
Proven record of outstanding GCSE/IGCSE results
Experience teaching Physics at A Level
A nurturing, student-centred classroom approach
Strong commitment to safeguarding and child protection
