They explained that the works include laying the final Type 3 asphalt layer with a thickness of 5 centimeters, in addition to completing related infrastructure activities. These include cleaning, inspecting, and surveying rainwater drainage and sewage networks to ensure full operational readiness.
Dr. Al-Mashaan stressed the ministry’s commitment to approved timelines and quality standards, noting that continuous on-site monitoring is helping accelerate completion while ensuring the highest technical and engineering specifications are met.
